Ultrasound
The ultrasonic cavitation, also known as aesthetic cavitation, is a relatively new technique that applies a phenomenon known in physics to aesthetics. This phenomenon is called cavitation and is a very smart way to reduce fat, because it is converted into liquid and then is naturally eliminated with urine. Nowadays the ultrasonic cavitation is considered as a treatment alternative to surgical liposuction as a non-invasive procedure with results obtained in short terms.

The ultrasonic cavitation reduces fat cells with certain manipulation techniques, thanks to a hand piece that is placed on the skin precisely on the area that is to be treated. The machine works with ultrasounds that form bubbles in the tissues where the fat cells are located. The bubbles expand and are immediately compressed afterwards. The temperature increases due to sudden variation in pressure and the bubbles implode. This implosion damages the fat cells, reducing the localised adiposity.

The fat contained (triglycerides) fragments into diglycerides that are expelled via the urinary system. When cavitation is followed by a lymphatic drainage treatment, the process is faster, as the drainage is very effective eliminating liquids. The low-frequency ultrasonic waves are useful in combating fat accumulations. It produces lipolysis of fatty acids from adipocytes (fat-laden cells) due to a phenomenon known as stable cavitation, and increased cell permeability of the adipocytes.

Furthermore, there is a breakdown of the fibres through mechanical action. As a result, some content of adipocytes is eliminated by the metabolism. Lipofirm Plus works with four different operative modes which can be adjusted according to the imperfection to be treated; it is the only cavitation device in the aesthetic market that utilises the so-called “adaptive” mode, which is an emission mode that automatically adjusts frequency emission relative to the tissue characteristics - this is undoubtedly considered as an outstanding effect which boosts treatment efficacy. 

Radiofrequency Skin Tightening for the Face or Body
Sagging skin on the neck, décolleté and face along  with wrinkles are common problems associated with aging. This is mainly due to decreasing of collagen production as skin loses it's quality.  Radiofrequency (RF) system is the most commonly used procedure to stimulate the collagen production and strengthen the skin structure.  RF enables skin tightening and improvement of the skin's appearance painlessly without post-op downtime of classic surgery applications or other invasive methods.  Radiofrequency is a non-invasive way of tightening loose or lax skin around the forehead, eyes, cheeks, mouth, jaw line, jowls and also the area under the chin/neck.  This is a great way of reducing fine lines and wrinkles, enlarged pores and improving skin tone and texture as well as dull skin.  It can also be used for body tightening and skin improvement.  Radiofrequency treatment uses electrical pulses.  It heats the dermis (the deepest skin layer) through hand pieces without damaging the epidermis (the top layers of the skin), to stimulate new collagen growth and provide an improvement in skin laxity and appearance, to remodel and enhance dermal density with minimal risks.

It is a safe procedure that can be applied to anyone but a detailed consultation will be carried out along with a complete report of your medical history.  Patients with kidney failure, liver failure, carrying a pacemaker or other electronic devices, pregnancy, lactation, hypertriglyceridemia, hypercholesterolemia, should avoid this procedure

One Area equals the maximum time we can spend with ultrasound at any one time examples are: Abdomen, Thighs front or back,

Facial Treatment is recommended as 3-4 at 2-3 weekly intervals to really kick start the effect then 3-4 more once a month.  This may be adjusted to suit your individual skin type and needs and also whether we are able to use the deeper acting mono-polar rather than bi-polar frequencies. (if you have any metal plates or implants in or near the area to be treated we cannot use mono-polar).

You will find that after finishing a course of treatment the skin tightening effect carries on firming up for 2-3 months.  Your bodies cells have a monthly renewal cycle and the collagen renewal will keep building for up to 3 months, so therefore, in order to keep the effect over your whole face and neck then the top up's really are important to do this for you!

We now have  the exclusively specially developed Lipolift Pro Serum to add into the LipoFirm Plus  treatment, this solution added in during the ultasound tretment and after the radiofrquency stage whilst the skin is still hot to allow the ingedients to be absorbed for even greater fat reduction! After the solution has been applied to your treatment area whilst still hot we will wrap the area with a special film for you to keep on for an hour whilst going home for it to have its best effect.

We can also use this amazing new formula during a face or neck treatment for fat reduction to really good effect!
